This article is written in anticipation of the 2.10 HWK Support Suite update for UFS2.10, which you can read more about here: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04794531&docType=UFS%2d10%2f64-bit%2bEN&lang=enu&cmd=_displayCoreDocs The article offers steps and links to ensure that the new support suite is successfully setup and ready to be used on your system: - Install the latest BIOS release on your system (see below) - Download and install HPE Support Assistant https://support. hpe.com/hpsc/documents/directives/d04861594 - Enable and restart the UFS 2.10 HWK Support Suite if it is not already enabled - Download and install the latest version of the HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM): http://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/SHARPto-release-note3/en_US/softwareDownloads.html See the article here: 4a) Ensure that you have at least 250GB free disk space on your system to install this update: http://h20195.www2.hpe. com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c042755512. pdf?ver=8.0&prodName=smart%20update% 20manager 4b) Uninstall previous versions of HPE SUM: http://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getpdf.aspx?docid =c019858473&doctype=summaries&ver =1&prodName=smart%20update% 20manager 4c) Install the latest version of HPE SUM: http://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getpdf . aspx?docid=c019858473&doctype= summaries&v=4.3.2&prodName=smart%20update% 20manager 5) Log into the SUM interface to ensure that the correct version has been set for your platform - See my summary below 6) Locate your system under "System" - click on "Configuration" next to the "System" section - it may take a bit of time to load, cloud back up several times if applicable, this so you can see changes reflected in the main screen: 7a) The "Visualise" button on the bottom of the screen allows you to select which components are being monitored. You can see that one of the components that was not enabled in my case is the "VGA" component. 7b) I had already installed the UFS 2.10 HWK Support Suite, but I had failed to re-enable it after it had been successfully installed. It was important to ensure that this component was enabled before attempting to update the BIOS on my system. 7c) Once this had been done, I could close out of SUM and return to HPE Support Assistant where I could click on the "System Update" tab and select which update(s) I wished to install on my system. eccc085e13
